AuthorAllison Molloy is an artist and teacher who uses drawing, printmaking, painting, jewelry, ceramics, and found objects to translate ideas, nature, emotions, and life experiences into reality. The conrete, repetative nature of rolling paper beads frees her imagination to explore how each bead may be used. Each bead is an essential building block that inspires endless design possibilities for the final artwork. She combines beads with attention to color, pattern, visual texture, rhythm, balance, and harmony. When each piece is complete, she turns to ancient, modern, and contemporary artists' works to inspire a title that has meaning, invokes curiosity, and invites viewers to bring their own meaning to the piece.
